portfolio
I did a draft for showing my portfolio.
PORTFOLIO
Not so much an automated system but i wanted to keep a clean layout.
Implemented as well the cooliris plugin, wich is a nice way of showing pictures.

disk space
running out of disk space !
Alas i do not have the budget for the NAS solution i am looking for.
Final choice narrowed to 3 possibilities:
- drobo with drobo-share
- lacie 5big network
- lacie 4big quadra
Most applealing is the drobo with 7.5TB (5 x 1.5 TB disks)
Until then i will add a couple of WD My Book Studio Edition II 1 TB
They should last until june, then budget will be available

Misc.
I spent some time this afternoon helping a fellow photographer with a small introduction into
studio photography. We covered basic lightmeter calibration, white balance when shooting raw
one light setup, two lights setup.
Curious to see some results from Laurent
In the evening i had the opportunity to work with an Kodan DCS Pro 14n, as an aquaintance having problems with focus
I was impressed with that machine even if startup time of several seconds are outdated, resulting raw files are nice
It appeared that the optimization of the lense he used was off and thus giving severe frontfocus.
Having put him on the right track (for tuning the body - lens combo...) i am looking forwrd to see some results.
